Private and personal

Comments

I know what you mean, I hardly ever write about what I've done. I'm worried that my friends will read stuff, even though none of them have Vox.
I know what you mean. I'll give out private things here and there but things like my real name? Yeah, that doesn't go anywhere online.
When I joined my new office, a colleague googled my name and found out my blogs. At the time I used to blog under my real name. There was not much personal content on the blog, but it was still embarrasing.
I don't use my own name either and I should really not be posting my photos, but I do since I am so vain!
Fortunately I haven't had trouble posting under my real name, but I too keep my private life private. The personal stuff is for friends only.

I don't think anyone here knows my real name or how old I am or anything. No one really needs to know.

I don't mind putting mildly personal items on my blog. It doesn't seem to hurt. But I use it chiefly as a format for writing - essays, comments, etc.

Anything deeply personal gets written down in my diary - pen and paper, then locked up: old school.
